Just in! Room 53 Announces Huge Expansion

Before Grand Openning !

New York:     Hellzapoppin' in Hell's Kitchen! The juggernaut has started and Hell's Kitchen and the theater district are buzzing.

After being open a little more than one month, the exciting new venue Room 53 is expanding it's spacious walls to include the space next door!  Ultimately, this will make Room 53 the largest venue of its kind in Hell's Kitchen and the theater district. The newly expanded venue will be able to hold  200-300 guests in four separate spaces. This will include two spacious upstairs bar-dining areas for a total of four dining rooms (including “The Cave,” a semi-private downstairs brick-walled lair that can accommodate 4 to 40 guests in a dimly lit, quiet dining room.) There will also be an outdoor garden terrace for warm weather.

There will be live entertainment throughout the club regularly. This will include piano bar, cabaret and ongoing special events.

Consequently, as a result of this ambitious expansion, owner Steve Cosh and management have decided to postpone the official Grand Opening until the whole expanded club can be on display. Watch for the announcement.

Room 53 is located at 314 West 53rd Street (between 8th & 9th Avenues.) For dinner reservations and more information, call (646) 675 5341 or check our website, www.room53.us . There is a parking facility across the street.

Currently, the club offers a great restaurant with a truly tantalizing menu, a lively piano bar, open-mic nights, Sunday Brunch with entertainment and much more. It's all in a plush, beautifully decorated ambiance that is thoroughly welcoming – and affordable.  So far, Room 53 has seen a plethora of talented artists from Broadway and cabaret to drag to sing-alongs to a Broadway chorus led by Broadway's Anthony Fett singing tunes from “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Recently, Garth Gates, first season runner-up on Britain's (and Simon Cowell's) “Pop Idol;” (later renamed “The X Factor,”) popped in to sing to the cheering crowds. He liked it so much, he returned two nights later with a large party and delighted his many fans and new friends throughout the night.  And, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Upcoming events will include classy cabaret shows more open-mic nights with new and established artists as well as theatrical screenings in addition to a full roster of singer/pianists rocking the room till closing nightly. The club has state of the art lights and sound as well. A fall-winter lineup of shows  will be announced after the official Grand Opening.

Owner Steve Cosh is a world traveled entrepreneur from, London with a history in business enterprises. Sreve wants everyone to feel welcome at this new bustling venue. “I love making people comfortable and watching them enjoy the many talents on our stage. With the expansion, there will be something for everyone at Room 53. We're still planning as we go. I am overwhelmed by the welcoming reception  and support the club has gotten. There's no place like New York.”

Aside from the irresistible menu, the club serves a wide assortment of imported wines and beers. All credit cards accepted.
Watch for the announcement of the  Grand Opening Gala filled with performers and personalities and many surprises.
