B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill / Lucille's Lounge

 237 W. 42nd Street (Between Broadway & 8th Avenue)
212 – 917 4144 //

A red-hot pop, jazz, R & B club in the heart of Times Square.
Classic artists like Peter Frampton, the Gipsy Kings, Air Supply and Blue Öyster Cult are only some joining R&B/Jazz/Cabaret legends like Chic and George Clinton, Carol Channing, Roberta Flack, Al Green, Chaka Khan, Donny Osmond, Ronnie Spector, Dionne Warwick, etc. played at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - the spacious Times Square club. And while the décor caters to  celebrity-style restaurant conceit (saxophone-shaped beer taps, a small souvenir store upstairs,) it's got terrific sound and good sight lines. A casual, no-attitude ambience, and table-service food that's actually acceptable. This lively club is always happening - with some one or some thing. Also check out Lucille's Grille (that rocks) inside the club.
